Compliance Center

One record file per auction, kept where you can find it. Build the auction record as the sale closes out: consignor agreements, settlement statements, proceeds dates, the pre-auction inventory, the results file, and a snapshot of the catalog image addresses. Alongside it, Compliance Center shows the records your state requires, how long they must be kept, and the statute each rule comes from.

Hub prepares the auction and Export sends it to your platform. FIND runs pickup after the sale.

What Compliance Center does

The auction file, built once and kept together

Every closed sale gets one record file. The state rules that apply sit next to it, so the person doing the work can see what is required without going looking for the statute.

Consignor Records

Add each consignor on the sale, then attach that consignor's signed agreement and settlement statement as a PDF or an image, and record the date the proceeds were delivered.

Auction Files

Upload the pre-auction inventory CSV and the final results CSV for the sale, and save a snapshot listing the address of every catalog image, so the file reflects what was offered and what happened.

Your State's Record Rules

For a supported state, Compliance Center lists the records the state requires, who has to keep each one, what it has to contain, how long it must be held, when that clock starts, and the statute or rule it comes from, with a link to the official source.

Record Checklist

The checklist shows what is on file and what is still missing for the sale, including whether every consignor has an agreement, a settlement statement, and a proceeds date.

Archive With a Rules Snapshot

Archive a closed sale and Compliance Center stamps the record with the state, the rule version, the verification date, and the checklist that applied at that moment. Change your business address later and an already archived record is not rewritten. You can reopen an archive if you need to.

Pull a Closed Sale Back Up

Closed auctions stay in one list. Narrow the list by auction name, open the sale, and open any stored document through a secure, time-limited link instead of walking to a file room.

Coverage

Where Compliance Center is available

Compliance Center carries a reviewed rule set for all 51 United States jurisdictions, the 50 states plus the District of Columbia. Availability follows your company's principal business state, not the state a given auction was held in.

35
Supported

Full record file, checklist, retention information, and citations.

3
Exempt

No state auctioneer recordkeeping rule to apply, so no record envelope is created.

13
Unsupported

Not covered yet. You see the status notice and official links, not a record file.

51
Reviewed

Every state plus DC is classified in a dated, versioned rule set.

Read this before you count on it

If your business state is supported, you get the record file, the checklist, and that state's required-record list. If your state is exempt or not yet supported, Compliance Center does not create a record file for your auctions. It shows the status for your state and links to the official sources instead.

Compliance Center is available to United States companies only. It is not offered outside the United States today.

Florida is a supported state. A Florida company sees six required records, including the written owner agreement and the record book of sales, each shown with its retention period, its citation, and a link to the statute or rule.

After the sale

Settle, file, archive

Settle the sale

Add each consignor, attach the signed agreement and the settlement statement, and record the date proceeds went out.

File the auction records

Upload the pre-auction inventory and the results file, and save the catalog image address snapshot.

Archive it

Archive the sale so the record is stamped with the rules that applied and stays available to pull back up.

What Compliance Center does not do today

  • It shows the retention period each record carries. It does not calculate expiry dates, count down deadlines, send reminders, or delete records when a period ends.
  • The closed auction list can be narrowed by auction name. There is no search inside stored documents or across consignors and dates.
  • Records are added by your staff. Uploading agreements, settlement statements, and the auction CSV files is a manual step, not an automatic feed from the sale.
  • Buyer invoices, balance sheets, and sales tax filings are not stored here. Catalog images themselves live in the Hub. Compliance Center keeps a snapshot of their addresses.

Compliance Center helps organize post-auction records after the auction settles. It does not provide legal advice, does not enforce compliance, and state-law links are a convenience. Confirm your obligations with your own counsel or your state licensing board.
